Description & Condition
Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
Fender is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, Geddy Lee, and many more. (Honorifics omitted).
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound was loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
The Fender Japan brand has now been discontinued.
This is a Fender MIJ series.
This is JB75, which is based on Fender Jazz Bass made in 1975.
It faithfully reproduces the iconic specs of the 1970s Jazz Bass, including the three-point joint, distinctive bridge binding, and block inlays.
The body is made of Ash and the fingerboard is Maple.
The bass and rich overtones are the same as those heard many times on CDs and in live performances.
It is the best.
The frets are about 60% full.
The truss rod is stiff, but we have confirmed that it works at about 90 degrees.
The neck tends to be high up, and depending on the setting and playing style, it may be clogged, especially when played with a strong touch. Currently, it can be adjusted at 2.0~2.5mm on 12F and can be played without any problem.
The body and painted surface have scattered dents scratches. There is about 170mm of paint peeling on the contour section.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The neck PU pot was defective, so it was replaced with a CTS A250k pot at GIB.
