Fender is the undisputed number one brand for electric guitars and basses.
It is beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model positioned above the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound has been cherished by many bassists, maintaining overwhelming popularity to this day and radiating a brilliant presence.
Fender Japan is a brand that has since been discontinued, yet it still enjoys a dedicated following among artists, with its high quality consistently recognized.
This is a fretless bass.
The body is Alder, the fingerboard is Rosewood – a classic combination.
The pickups are the USA-made type.
Its mellow yet distinctly defined tone is truly characteristic.
Highly recommended.
The truss rod is somewhat stiff but confirmed to move approximately 90 degrees.
The neck exhibits slight bowing upward. However, it is playable without issues after adjusting the string height at the 12th fret to 3.0mm for the G string and 3.5mm for the E string.
The body and finish show scattered dents and scratches.
Electronics are in good condition.
No significant modifications were noted.
