Description & Condition
Description & Condition
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released with the positioning of a higher-end model of Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This model is the Fender Japan brand JB62-75US, which was highly regarded but has disappeared.
We have judged it comprehensively based on its appearance and specs.
If this model number is correct, the body is alder and the fingerboard is rosewood.
It is a classic configuration.
Pickups are replaced with Bartolini 9ST.
You will feel the richness of the middle range, as if the delicious parts of the middle range were boiled down to the tastiest parts.
This model has a brighter sound than the classic 9S.
The bridge has been replaced with a HIPSHOT KICKASS.
This slimy attack and smooth rise are not to everyone's taste, but personally I think it contributes to the high quality of this unit.
All pots have been replaced with CTS, and the capacitors are not original.
There was a problem with the jack when it arrived, so we replaced it with a Switchcraft one in our store.
Some wires are Belden accordingly.
The bass and rich overtones that come out like a Fender are the same sound that we have heard many times on CDs and live performances.
On top of that, Bartolini and HIPSHOT's character is felt and the quality is excellent.
It is not a classic JB, but I think many people will be moved by this sound.
The remaining frets are approximately 70%.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The condition of the neck is rippled and high up, but can be played without problems at a string height of 2.5mm to 3.0mm.
The body and painted surface are in player's condition with scratches and dings scattered throughout. There is a spot on the side of the body where scratches and dents are densely scattered.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The PU has been replaced with a BARTOLINI / 9ST. The bridge has been replaced with a HIP SHOT/ KickAss Bass Bridge Chrome. Knobs and plates have been replaced (model number unknown). The jack was defective when we received the guitar, so it has been replaced with a SWITCHCRAFT jack. Some wiring materials have been replaced with Belden.
