Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released with the positioning of a higher-end model of Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This model is a Fender Japan brand JB62 FL, which was highly regarded but has disappeared.
There is also a JBD-62 FL as an engraving, so this may be the exact model number.
The front is fat and the rear sings.
Mixing them together in the mixed position produces a tight, clear low end with a distinctive sound.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition, with the string height at the 12th fret being 3.0mm on the 1st string side and 3.5mm on the 4th string side, which is playable without any chattering or clogging.
There are some small dents on the head, paint cracking and lifting near the 4th string bushing, and a 9mm chip in the wood near the 1st string bushing.
The condition of the body and paint surface is generally scratchy. There are also numerous minor dents and several large dents of around 10 mm. There is one crack in the paint near the neck pocket.
The nut has been replaced, although the material is unknown. The new nut is about 1mm larger than the neck width, so it protrudes about 0.5mm on both sides.
The jack has been replaced with a switch craft. The pickup counterbore, control counterbore, and the back of the pickguard have been sealed with aluminum sheet. This sealing is not of the highest quality and may not be a professional job. If you wish, we can re-seal it for a fee.
