The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
Fender Japan is a brand that has now been discontinued, but many artists still use it, and its high quality has gained a certain reputation.
This model is the JB62-60, a very popular standard.
It was manufactured in 1992, during the popular Fujigen period.
It is signed 4-20 92 on the neck end.
The body is Basswood, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Rosewood.
There is no doubt about this look.
The sound and playing comfort of this bass, which is just like a Jazz bass, will be very much appreciated by Fender lovers.
It has a JB-like sharpness on top of a wide low end.
The frets are approximately 80% full.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition, with a slight high up, but can be played at our standard string height setting of 2.0mm on the G string to 2.5mm on the E string.
The body and painted surface have some dents and scratches, and there is a sense of use commensurate with the age of the instrument.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Jacks have been replaced with Switchcraft and capacitors with orange drops.
