Description & Condition
Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released with the positioning of a higher-end model of Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This is literally a genuine Jazz Bass with a vintage motif.
This is a piece from 1999.
Alder body, rose fretboard, and classic specs.
Warm and filling the low end of the ensemble, its stability makes it a bassist's best friend.
This series is currently discontinued, and I think that pre-2000 units from this area will be going up in price in the future.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod movement is a little stiff, but we have confirmed about 90° movement.
The neck is in a high position. Currently, the string height on the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.0mm on the 4th string side.
This feels normal for a Fender, but may be uncomfortable for those who are used to instruments like the Fodera.
The overall color has been tarnished and turned a dark orange. There is some stand burn at the base of the head.
The overall condition of the body and painted surface is quite color-burned. There are numerous dents and scratches, although they are not easily noticeable.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The jacks have been replaced with recent Switchcraft jacks.
The bridge saddles and octave screws on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strings have been replaced, but the model numbers are unknown.
The pickups were replaced by Delano JC4 HE/M2 at GIB.
The rod nut was cracked and has been replaced with a Montreux nut.
Smell is relatively attached and you can feel the age of the guitar.
