Musicman emerged as Leo Fender's second brand and was loved by bassists worldwide.
Even after being acquired by Ernie Ball, this remains unchanged, and it continues to be widely accepted by modern bassists.
Many artists, including Louis Johnson and Flea, are known to use Musicman basses. (Titles omitted)
The Stingray is a classic model that boasts overwhelming popularity within the brand.
Alongside Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass, it's safe to say it's one of the most popular basses in the world.
This is a Japanese-made Stingray VT.
While the EX is widely known as a Japanese-made Stingray, this model is its predecessor.
It was manufactured for a very short period and is rare.
Manufactured in 1996.
The body is likely made of ash.
The neck and fretboard are maple.
The pickups and preamp are original.
In terms of specifications, it follows the Pre Ernie's specifications, with a 2-band preamp and string-through-body bridge.
It features a distinctive, masculine design with a single humbucking pickup mounted at the bridge.
The punchy sound can only be obtained with this guitar.

The frets have approximately 60% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.

An additional truss rod groove has been added. The pickguard has also been modified accordingly. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Jive pickups.
