The Stingray is by far the most popular model of the company, but this is the Sterling.
It features a slightly slimmer body shape and is more comfortable to hold in comparison.

This model is a rare 5-string with HS pickup layout.
Most of them are 4-string with a single humbucking PU, so it is rare.

The body is Ash and the fingerboard is Maple, a wood composition typical of Musicman.

In addition to the powerful bridge humbucking sound that was the original appeal of the Stingray, Sterling, the combination of neck-side pickups adds variety to the sound.
