dragonfly is a Japanese guitar and bass brand with a long history.
Using the knowledge and technology cultivated with musicians, the company produces high quality products.

Many musicians use the brand's basses, including Tejan Tetsuya of Fear.and Loathing in Las Vegas, who has been using the brand's basses for many years.

There are several models of dragonfly, but this model is the CS 5 with a double-cut body design.

The bridge is made by GOTOH, specially ordered, all machined from brass, and weighs 270 grams.
The normal is made of die-cast zinc and steel and weighs 198g.

The fingerboard is made of maple, and the frets are stainless steel frets designed in-house.
In fact, dragonfly is a pioneer who started to introduce stainless steel frets to their basses in earnest.

The original preamp is attractive in that there is no weird boomy sound even when boosted.
The BASS bandwidth is a bit higher at 60Hz, which seems to match modern bassists.

It looks almost the same, but it is a perfect bridge that matches the dragonfly concept.

This one was originally ordered from GIB, and the color is natural and the neck was finished in gloss.
It is a custom model with a 34" scale, so it has been put together in a traditional direction.

The controls are volume, balancer, passive tone, bass, middle, treble, and two mini switches for active/passive and middle freqency.

There are approximately 90% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
There are some minor scratches and dings on the body and paint surface, but overall the instrument is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
