At some point, the brand was divided into different areas and later became the KIESEL brand for guitar development.
I don't need to mention the current popularity of KIESEL.
This is the SB-5000 model, a gem with some NY-style custom JB flavour.
A hell of a masterpiece, as it turns out.
Don't get me wrong, it looks like a Sadowsky NYC before the current style.
The look is unique, but the balance is such that it feels like it is basically inspired by a jazz bass.
The PU and preamp are original.
Basically, it has a NY sound-like feel, with 2 volume controls, middle/frequency, treble/bass.
The playing is extremely smooth and the playability is phenomenal.
It feels as if you are playing at a lower string height without having to specifically lower the string height.
The high end character is felt in the fact that the string height does not change significantly up to the high position, and the nuance and sound is similar to the low position.
This bass is great for slapping, great for fingering, and in a way has an ideal New York style.
I personally rate it highly, but what do you think?

The frets are approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a large ding near the jack. Other scratches, dents and dull parts are scattered, in player's condition.
