Description & Condition

Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.

As a brand under Diviser, which owns the large Asuka factory, the high quality resulting from the factory’s direct involvement is highly regarded by many musicians.

This model is part of the WL series, which belongs to the top-of-the-line WOODLINE lineup.

Its most distinctive feature is the use of roasted maple for the neck and fingerboard.

This is also known as thermo-treated wood.

Thermo-treated wood, which was first put to practical use in the musical instrument industry by the Japanese company Sago, was originally used in Finland as a building material for saunas.

Thermowood is highly valued for its resistance to high temperatures and humidity, and its usefulness for musical instruments is evident from the fact that top-tier manufacturers like Sadowsky and Suhr have adopted it.

It is said that a certain amount of thermowood is discarded during processing.

It is likely that even pieces that might warp in the future will be used here.

The body is made of ash, allowing you to fully enjoy its beautiful grain.

This appearance is unique to ash and cannot be found elsewhere.

The nut is made of TUSQ.

Significant investment has been made in these critical components.

Its potential as an instrument is second to none.

From entry-level to high-end models, Bacchus actively incorporates roasted maple.

This is a guitar that fully showcases the immense potential of this wonderful wood—please give it a try.

Approximately 90% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is on the stiff side, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.

The neck shows signs of bowing, but it plays perfectly fine after adjusting the string action at the 12th fret to 2.5mm for the G string and 3.3mm for the low B string.

There are no noticeable scratches on the body or finish.

The electronics are in good condition.

No obvious modifications were found.
