Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan.

The brand is under the umbrella of Divisor, which owns a large guitar factory called Asuka Factory, and its high quality is appreciated by many musicians because it is handled by the factory itself.

This model is a JB model from the Global Series, which is manufactured independently with the aim of achieving high quality.
We heard that it is manufactured by Key's Handmade Guitar in the Philippines.

It has a Fender-like wood construction with an ash body and rose fingerboard.

The pickups have been replaced and are equipped with Setmour Duncan SJ5s-67/70 set.
The bridge has also been replaced and is currently a GOTOH 404BO-5.

The bridge has had the mounting holes changed when it was replaced, and the original holes have been carefully filled in.

It is equipped with a pre-amplifier with a built-in 2-band EQ for aggressive sound production.

The pickups and bridge have been replaced with high-class ones and the sound is very neat and well-rounded.

The playability typical of Bacchus is palpable and you wouldn't believe that this is a very inexpensive instrument.

However, even though it is made in the Philippines, Bacchus has very careful quality control.
In this respect, there are not many brands in the world that are better than them.

You usually don't get basses of this quality at this price. Recommended.

Approx. 80% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
Neck in good condition. Scattered small dents on the head and grip; distortion on the 3rd string peg button. It is difficult to turn, but works well.
The condition of the body and paintwork is marked by small dents and scratches. There are numerous buckle scratches. There is some paint sagging on the body end, probably caused by grounding with straps, stands, etc.
The condition of the electrical system is such that the centre clicks on the treble and bass pots are a little weak. I think it is from the original. Operation is good.
