Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It is a subsidiary of Divider, which owns the large Asuka Factory, a guitar factory. The high quality of its products, achieved through in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
Bacchus offers several series at different price points, with the Universe series offering particularly high cost performance.
This model is a JB model with a roasted maple neck.
The body is hardwood, and the neck and fingerboard are roasted maple.
Roasted maple originated as a Finnish technology, and its use in musical instruments was pioneered by the Kansai-based brand Sago.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SJB-3s.
The bridge has been replaced with a GOTOH 201B-4.
Both of these part changes could be considered upgrades.
The roasted maple neck gives the guitar a refined sound and a comfortable playing feel.
The wide range and warm nuances create a juicy, blissful sound.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish have some minor scratches, but are generally clean. There are some sun-damaged sticker marks on the pickguard.
The electronics are in good condition.
The bridge has been replaced with a GOTOH 201B-4.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SJB-3s.
A shim has been installed to completely cover the neck pocket.

- Please note that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
