AV Basses is a high-end Czech brand that attracted a lot of attention when Jamiroquai bassist Paul Turne started using them.
The brand was started in the 1990s by professional bassist Ales Vychodil.
At the time, major instrument manufacturers were supplying numerous basses to the market, but none met his requirements.
To meet his own needs, he began making custom basses himself.
This model is a PB-type in the Fender style.
It is left-handed.
The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic configuration.
The pickups are Nordstrand NP5.
The preamp is likely original.
It has a two-band EQ for bass and treble.
The tuning machines and bridge are made by HIPSHOT.
It is characterized by a smooth sound that extends smoothly from low B to E, A, D, and G.
The rich midrange and generous, ocean-like PB sound provide a powerful support for any musician.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.

● Lifetime Free Maintenance
Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online store is eligible.
- Please note that you are responsible for all shipping and other costs.
● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
