Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Atlansia is a renowned workshop that has long supported Japanese guitar manufacturing.
Its unique designs are highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad, and it is respected by many luthiers and musicians.
This model is likely a one-off.
Originally a single PB-type pickup, it has been modified to a three-pair configuration.
The Atlansia logo appears on the headstock and bridge, and the electrical system, including the pickups, also appears to have been done by Atlansia.
This suggests that the body is a different brand, while the neck and electrical system were modified by Atlansia.
Atlansia actually also produces necks alone, so the consistency appears to be high, but please understand that we cannot be certain.
The body appears to be alder.
The neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups are large-pole-piece single-coil types.
As you can see, it has a three-pair configuration.
The bridge and neck pickups have been newly recessed, and the center pickup has been widened by further widening the PB-type recess.
The electrical system appears to have been newly installed along with the pickguard.
Controls include a master volume and master tone, as well as on/off switches for each pickup.
Although it has a unique look, the high-quality neck ensures overall playability, and the distinctive electronics create a wide variety of sounds.
This guitar is by no means a showpiece, but is nonetheless highly functional.
Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is a bit stiff, but has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck has been adjusted with a shim due to the bridge structure, which prevents the string height from being lowered. It can be played without any issues with a setting of 2.5-3.0mm at the 12th fret.
There are scratches and dents on the body and finish.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Originally a single-PGA-type pickup, this guitar has been modified to a three-pGA configuration.
The bridge and neck pickups have been re-drilled, and the center pickup has been re-drilled to further widen the PB-type recess.
The electrical system appears to have been newly installed along with the pickguard.
Controls: Master volume, neck pickup on/off switch, center pickup on/off switch, bridge pickup on/off switch, master tone.
Nut width: 41.6mm
Bridge string spacing: 19.0mm
Scale: 34 inches
Year of manufacture: Unknown
Country of manufacture: Japan
This guitar is set up using D'addario EXL strings, trusted by professional musicians.
Characterized by a powerful attack and rich overtones, these strings truly deserve to be called the standard.
Enjoy these high-quality strings, which maximize the instrument's performance and character.
GIB's craftsmen will tune these strings for optimal playability before shipping them.
