Atelier Z is a professional bass bass brand widely loved by professional bassists both in Japan and abroad.
The brand is known for its basses being used by a number of renowned musicians, including Tomohito Aoki, KenKen, BOH, and JINO.
This is the flagship M Series, a signature model by Tomohito Aoki.
Based on the 1970s Fender Jazz Bass, it is a more modern model.
The body is made of ash, with a maple fingerboard and neck, a classic brand design.
The pickups are EMG JVX.
This is a passive model.
The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT.
The bridge is an original Badass type.
The heavyweight ash body delivers punchy lows and brilliant, piercing highs.
This is a masterpiece that lets you experience the slap sound you've always dreamed of.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is fully tightened.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish have minor scratches, but are generally clean.
There is a slight scratching noise when turning the treble knob.
The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones. The pickups have been replaced with EMG J-Xs.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
