Description & Condition
It is loved by countless top artists such as James Jemerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League.
The Precision Bass was the world's first solid electric bass with frets, and quickly captivated bassists around the world.
More than half a century has passed since its birth, and it is still loved as much as ever.
This model is a gem of the New American Vintage series, an updated version of the classic American Vintage.
As the model name suggests, it is based on a 1958 Precision bass.
The body is made of alder and finished in beautiful sunburst color.
The neck is one-piece maple, with the fingerboard and neck made of the same wood, as per the specifications of the time.
Although it would be more efficient to manufacture the guitar if the fingerboard were applied later, the neck was made with great care, ignoring the fact that the fingerboard is made of the same wood as the neck.
A real reissue.
It has a wild, quick, big sound.
Good sound with pick or finger.
Quicksilver is highly recommended for this one. Good.
Roughly 90% frets left.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition, but the string height at the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.0mm on the 4th string side, and it is playable without any chattering or clogging.
Strictly speaking, there is a high rise as described above, but in fact it is normal for a Fender. (In fact, it is normal for a Fender.)
The head is dotted with small dents, but is relatively clean.
There is a chip near the nut groove on the 4th string, but it is not a problem for playing.
The condition of the body and paint surface is generally scratchy.
There are several small dents and a 6mm ding on the body end.
The electrical system is in good condition.
A weight has been retrofitted to the control cavity.
Since they are attached quite firmly, it may take some time to remove the weights and use them.
