PRS is a new age standard guitar brand along with Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by the world's top musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and PABLO. (abbreviation of the series)
This model is released from the SE line, which achieves high quality through superior quality control while keeping the price lower than before.
This model is a signature model of Zach Myers, lead guitarist of the rock band Shinedown.
The body back is made of Mahogany, the top is Maple, and beautiful Flame Maple is used as a veneer.
The three-layer construction of the body gives it the beautiful looks of a higher-end PRS model while keeping costs down, and the maple top and mahogany back give it a full-fledged sound.
The semi-hollow construction with f-holes gives it a sound that is somewhere between solid and acoustic, with a good boxiness and tightness.
The neck and fingerboard are made of Mahogany.
The finish is satin, which is rare for PRS, and has a silky smooth feel and good glide when moving from one position to another.
Pickups are equipped with 245 “S”.
The sound is clear and well-balanced.
Controls are 2Volume, 2Tone, and 3-way toggle switch.
By adopting a layout similar to that of Gibson guitars, a variety of sounds can be controlled at hand.
This is a traditional style with a lot of attention to detail, and is recommended for both Zach Myers fans and non-fans alike.
