Description & Condition
With its founding roots in Trace Elliot, the team is dedicated to achieving higher quality and better prices.
Artists such as Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, and The Who are known to use Ashdown.
We are pleased to announce that we are now the importer and distributor of many of their products.
Ashdown is originally an amp brand, so you may have a strong image of their amps, but in fact, they also have a lineup of effectors, basses, headphones, and more.
The bass guitar in particular is designed by Dan Lakin, the founder of Lakland.
This shows the seriousness of the company.
Manufacturing is done in Korea.
The method of manufacturing in Asia, spending more on hardware, and achieving high quality while keeping prices low is currently a trend in Europe and the United States. (Reverend Guitars, Anaconda Basses, Bassmods, etc.)
This model is a Lowrider Bass with a shape like Reverend's Thunderbird.
The wood is a traditional choice: alder for the body, maple for the neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard.
Lightweight woods were selected and used, and the weight of each bass is kept in the low 3kg to low 4kg range.
Two large humbucking type pickups are mounted.
The front pickup is placed on the neck and the rear pickup is placed quite close to the bridge.
That is why each has a distinctly different character, and also gives the guitar a gut-punching sound when mixed.
Whether finger or pick, both output a contoured sound with plenty of bass.
Equipped with HIPSHOT tuning keys and WILKINSON bridge.
Because we understand the importance of hardware, it is evident that we have spared no cost in this regard.
It is also characterized by its relatively light weight, which I think is a big attraction for musicians who actually play.
Although these are sold under the "outlet" label, they are actually brand new products purchased from the manufacturer.
The reason why they are listed as "outlet" is because some of the pegs are tilted, some of the paint is slightly dripping, and we have judged that the quality is not good enough to sell as new in Japan.
For this reason, we have set the price at 10% lower than the original price.
However, it does not mean that the quality is 10% lower than the original price.
This bass is a new brand of Dan Lakin's bass, so we hope you will have high expectations for it.
