This model is an ambitious work that fully incorporates Mr. Kikuchi's intentions, with the Music Man Stingray as its motif.
Until now, only Alder body models were available, but this new model uses an Ash body.
In many areas, such as the angle of the neck and initial settings, the design is a further development of Fender's style, and I strongly feel that playability is important.
I feel that this nuance is similar to earlier series such as Sadowsky TYO and Sadowsky Metroline Slap Master.
Pickups are developed over time with new designs.
The sound is characterized by the deep fat nuances of the vintage Stingray in the low range.
The default wiring is parallel, similar to the Stingray, but by pulling up the tone knob the wiring becomes series, giving you a more powerful sound.
This sound has a nuance similar to when you push the EQ on a Stingray.
Even though it's passive, you can really feel the Stingray-ness.
It is an ambitious work with a lot of potential, giving the impression that it is a modern-day properly rebuilt Stingray.
The cavity is pre-drilled and has a space to store the battery.
In other words, it will be easy to install a preamplifier in the future.
For example, Bartolini's TCT series and Aguilar OBP1-1 can be installed without any modification and only with wiring work.
