Sugi is a brand created by Mr. Sugimoto, a legendary figure who has supported Japanese guitar making for many years.
They manufacture high-quality guitars and basses in Nagano Prefecture, garnering high praise from many musicians.

Their basses are known to be favorites of musicians such as Hojin Egawa and Mike Porcaro of TOTO.

This is a special NB4 custom-made by GIB.

The body top is beautiful Maverick Quilted Maple, and the back is Ash.

The neck is a laminated type with a maple core, and the fingerboard is Cocobolo.

These are joined together with a set neck.
The distinctive characteristics of this construction are reflected in the excellent sound.

The pickups are the brand's original powered type.

They are simple passive types.

The hardware is GOTOH, but these were custom-made by Sugi and optimized for this bass.

Despite its 24 frets, this guitar features a distinctive open sound without being too tight.

Compared to instruments with bolt-on joints, it offers a smoother attack, rich low end, and refined, beautiful overtones.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchased item within six months of purchase, we guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.

●Defect Guarantee

All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used items and one year for new items.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

・Replacement of consumables.
