Secret EFX is an Italian brand founded by Luca Cesaroni.
He has been working in the music and guitar industry for many years, and started the brand to create products that were needed in his line of work but didn't exist in the world.
The main electronic circuit design is done by his friend Guido Borghesani.
Guido is a professional engineer who works in a variety of fields, from audio equipment to medical equipment and contemporary art, and is trusted.
One of the appeals of Secret EFX is its use of a distinctive chassis, and Luca came up with this idea at a shop that sells military salvage items.
I met Luca at a guitar show in Europe.
After talking with him, I quickly realized that he has a passion for the guitar, respects artists, and has a great personality.
On the spot, they explained each product one by one while making sounds, and I was completely convinced and decided to form a partnership with them.
Secret-2 is a very natural overdrive that retains the atmosphere of the original sound.
As a character, it is characteristic that you can feel the nuances of British rock.
The dynamic range is wide and you can get clear sound.
And it's very quiet with little noise.
GAIN is 0 for a clean sound, and increasing it will push it to the point where you can get a fuzz-like distortion. However, the great point is that it stays in the clear and crunch range.
TONE consists of a passive circuit that modulates the treble range in a modest way. Great for suppressing the harsh edges of distortion that can be over-emphasized with special amps and cabinets.
VOLUME is located at the end of the circuit. It completely changes only the volume without affecting the sound character.
This is the perfect device for those who want to produce pure sound with a large dynamic range without sacrificing any picking nuances.
