Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, the Metroline Series was manufactured in Japan, but production will now be handled by Warwick in Germany.
For Roger Sadowsky, Warwick is the ideal factory out of all the factories around the world.
The ML24 is a 24-fret, modern-style bass.
The basic design of this modern-style bass was created by Roger Sadowsky.
The 24-fret design shortens the distance between the neck pickup and the end of the fingerboard, so the neck pickup is slightly closer to the bridge.
I heard from him that changing the pickup position results in a sharper sound, so the pickup type was changed to a soapbar type to balance it out.
This limited-edition model is an ML24 finished with a special paint job.
I was told this was their latest model when I visited the Warwick factory in Germany in 2023, and I proposed selling it through GIB. It took several years to come to fruition.
This distinctive look is achieved by coloring the Poplar Burl body top in Nebula Green & Black Burst.
A beautiful finish that combines natural wood with handmade painting techniques.
The body back is Red Alder, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Morado.
As is typical of Sadowsky, it is very playable and lightweight.
It has a wide tonal range, but is designed to produce well-balanced string vibrations from top to bottom, output by Sadowsky's high-quality pickups and preamp.
Although it has a modern style, it will likely feel familiar to those who normally play Fender basses.
In fact, this model was planned by Warwick's new CEO, Nicolas Wilfer.
I think it is a masterpiece that demonstrates the success of Warwick/Sadowsky in a new era.
Please give it a try.
