Red House Guitars is one of the leading guitar workshops in Japan, handling OEM production for many high brands in addition to repair work.
The quality of the original brand guitars produced by Red House Guitars is highly evaluated, and top professionals such as Kelly Simon and Tomoki Sekiya have been using their products.
This is a 5-string PB model custom-ordered by GIB.
As you can see, two split coil PUs for PB are installed.
In fact, MTD is the same style, so its usefulness is certain.
The PJ layout is often employed and is a popular style.
However, many people feel a negative sense of discomfort when mixing, especially on the treble string side.
The PP model was adopted to solve this problem.
As a result, we can say that it was a success.
The neck PU and bridge PU each have their own fatness, and that is not lost in the mix position.
And even when they are used separately, they are hum canceled, so there is no noise at all, which I think is a very good point.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Pau Ferro.
The PU is their original.
The bridge is HIPSHOT STYLE B Alumi and the tuning machine is HIPSHOT Ultralite.
Red House basses are really easy to play, and this time the result was just as expected and very nice.
The fret mounting as well as the overall shape of the fretboard is ideal and very clean.
This lack of breakdown seems to prove their high skill.
On top of that, the sound is fat and what we expected from PP's PU layout was finished without showing any negative aspects.
It is a style that is not often seen, but we guarantee its high practicality.
