This is a String Mute.
You've probably seen guitarists and bassists attaching this near the nut.
When playing phrases that don't use open strings, you can attach it closer to the bridge than the nut to mute string vibrations, or you can mute string vibrations closer to the headstock than the nut to achieve a cleaner sound image.
Every item is inspected by GIB craftsmen before delivery.
We ship in a sturdy cardboard box.
We also ship internationally.
