Olive Instruments is a brand handmade by Japanese builder Mr. Yaguchi.
They have a reputation for their work, which is finished with a neat balance of luxurious use of high-quality woods.

This model is headless and has a double-cut body.

African mahogany is used for the body back, and cool Kral walnut is used for the top without question.
Kral walnut is a wood used by high brands such as Ken Smith, and is in very high demand and popular as an instrumental wood for both looks and sound.

The neck is made of roasted maple and the fingerboard is made of fine-grained rosewood.

The sound has a well-controlled overtone impression, as is typical of headless instruments.
The sound is clear from the lowest to the highest strings, and yet it has an organic overtone.

The pickups are Aguilar DCB, and the preamp is a Humpback.
Controls are volume, balancer, tone, bass, treble, and PU wiring switching (series/parallel).

The body balance when set up is very good, so musicians should be able to concentrate only on their playing.
The overall balance is beautiful, which we feel is one of the characteristics of this brand.
