Carey Nordstrand, the organizer of the company, has worked as a master builder for Suhr Guitars for five years.
His pickups are popular because of his extensive experience and careful hand-wound by craftsmen.
They are used by many guitar brands such as Warwick, LEH Guitars, and Roscoe Basses, and are favored by professional bassists as well.
Here is the NJ4, a pure reproduction of the pickups made by Fender in the 1960s, arranged for 5-string JBs.
