The MJ Five is an ambitious design based on the traditional JB style, incorporating unique design details.
This is a so-called "Show model" manufactured by Divisor in 2023.
The body back is Ash 1P and the top is Burl Bubinga.
Bubinga is a wood used by bass brands such as Warwick, and is characterized by its hardness and heaviness.
The sound is also unique, with a tight and straight impression.
The neck is made of beautiful Thermo Bird's Eye Maple.
Thermo wood, which is treated at high temperatures to volatilize moisture and increase rigidity, is originally a Finnish technology.
It was popular as a building material for saunas, and Sago, a Kansai brand, pioneered its use in musical instruments.
Naturally, wood that has gone out of alignment during the thermo treatment is not used and is played.
