Dry Bell is a Croatian effects brand launched in 2012.
Their high quality is highly appreciated and widely known, especially in Europe and the United States.

We met them at Guitar Summit 2023 in Germany and were amazed by their beautiful UI and musically appealing sound, and immediately decided to carry them.

The Engine is a 2-channel analog preamp with one channel inspired by classic British guitar amps of the 1960s and another channel inspired by the character of the Rangemaster!
Each channel has a flexible EQ that allows you to create a very detailed sound.

Each of the two channels has a different character, which will be explained below.

Side A
Reproduction of a 1960s British tube amp.
It faithfully reproduces the response, saturation, and drive nuances of a 1960s British tube amp.
This side is equipped with controls called TONE and SHAPE.
The TONE control adjusts the treble range, while the SHAPE control mainly controls the midrange, arranging the overall character of the amp.

Side B
This amp produces a sound inspired by the legendary Treble Booster of the 1960s, the Rangemaster.
The complex overtones and shimmering nuances are unique and appealing.
The internal power supply is boosted, which is utilized to produce a clean sound.
LOW and HIGH EQs are provided here to support fine-tuned sound creation.

Here is Unit67 without the compression function.

These channels can be used individually or in a mix.
The order can be switched by the ORDER switch.
Needless to say, the order of booster and drive, when used at the same time, can make a big difference in the sound.

When SideB is connected to SideA, deeper drive and sparkling overtones are pushed.
When connected from SideA to SideB, you get more volume and more sparkling overtones.

This is a high-quality preamp that is truly the engine of the guitar sound.
Sophisticated UI and well-researched sound, both of the highest quality. Highly recommended.
