The neck feels more swaying, and while this is an area where the sensation varies from person to person, I think it will feel familiar to regular Fender players.
The scale is 34.5 inches.
The fingerboard is ebony.
The dense, deep black ebony gives it a luxurious feel.
The frets are stainless steel frets designed in-house.
In fact, dragonfly was a pioneer in fully introducing stainless steel frets to its own basses.
An attractive feature of the original preamp is that it doesn't become unnaturally boomy even when boosted.
The slightly high bass range of 60 Hz will likely suit modern bassists.
The tuning machines and bridge are made by GOTOH.
The sound is refined, but there is certainly a traditional nuance to it, and it sincerely fulfills the role of a bass in an ensemble.
It's characterised by its straightforward responsiveness, and I think it's a sound that can be used in any genre.
