Delano is a leading German bass pickup brand.
Specializing in modern styles, they have become so popular in recent years that they are featured in many high-end basses.
This model is a JMVC 5-string pickup, the brand's signature pickup.
The pickup cover is white.
Using a ferrite magnet, they produce a noiseless, powerful sound.
When mixed, they produce a surprisingly JB sound.
However, their true potential is best revealed when the balance is shifted to the front or rear.
Their powerful, speedy sound is very appealing.
Delano pickups all share a strong midrange.
This richness effectively enhances the bass's position in an ensemble.
While 5-string basses tend to have a dark sound, this pickup is incredibly clear and produces a crisp low end.
