Description & Condition

Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan.

Bacchus is a brand under the umbrella of Divisor, which owns a large guitar factory called Asuka Factory, and many musicians appreciate the high quality of the guitars because they are handcrafted by the factory itself.

This model is a modern guitar with a motif of a traditional Stratocaster but with developmental characteristics.

The main features are a slightly shorter scale and the use of roasted maple (RSM) for the neck and fingerboard.

Normally, a typical Fender-style guitar is designed with a 25.5" scale, but this one is designed with a 25" scale.
This results in a richer overtone and more volume in the low end.

For those who are used to the Gibson sound, this may be more familiar.

The wood used for the neck and fingerboard is roasted maple.
This is also called thermwood.

Roasted maple is originally a Finnish technique, and Sago, a Kansai brand, pioneered its use in musical instruments.

This wood is treated at high temperatures to volatilize the moisture and increase its stiffness. Naturally, wood that has gone out of alignment during this process is not used.
The result is a high quality product in two ways.

The sound is well-proven, and in a good sense, it does not feel like a new instrument.
It has a wide range and warm nuance, which makes the sound juicy and happy.

The pickups are a modern style, with the rear of the conventional 3-single replaced by a humbucking type.
This combination is a favorite of many professionals, and some consider it to be the most versatile.
The rear humbucking PU can be coil-tapped, so it can also be used as a 3-single style.

A great gem that can be used for a wide range of rock and pop music.
