Alusonic is an Italian brand that primarily manufactures guitars and basses incorporating aluminum as a material.
Because many elements are designed and manufactured in-house, their products are all pure, highly consistent, and possess a perfect balance at a high level.
The J-Special is a model that incorporates a body shape that stylishly rearranges a traditional style.
A noteworthy feature of this model is the optional aluminum top.
Placed to fit into the body top, its unique pattern and beautiful finish create an elegant look and a light, crisp sound.
The beauty of the matching fretboard inlay is also distinctive and elegant.
The body back is made of chambered ash wood.
It is finished with a very thin layer of urethane.
The slightly thin body thickness and chambered body combine to create a powerful response that repels the plucked strings, which is one of the most unique points of this model. The open sound, which doesn't become too dark despite having 24 frets, is a major advantage.
It features a dual-coil pickup with a hybrid magnet system using Alnico and Neodymium, which was originally developed.
It achieves a balance between the rich low-end characteristic of Alnico and the speed characteristic of Neodymium.
The preamp, equipped with a 3-band EQ, was also originally developed.
Even when boosted, the sound doesn't become muddy, only the volume increases, and even extreme settings (such as all bands full) result in a sound that is still acceptable.
