Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of their guitars and basses is exceptionally high, and they are highly regarded not only by Marcus Miller fans but also by a wider audience.
This particular bass is modeled after a Jazz Bass.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is maple, giving it a slightly more modern look.
The fretboard and fretwork are superb.
