ARIA is a brand that has been active since the early days of guitar making in Japan.
They also have a strong reputation for manufacturing basses in the EUB (Electric Upright Bass) style, and their Aria SWB series is highly regarded.
This is the SWB-04, which was the top model in the SWB series.
The body uses maple for the top and mahogany for the back.
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
It is equipped with four BIS Individual PUs, which were developed specifically for the SWB.
With independent coils for each string, it is easy to adjust the output of each string, and the design provides a well-balanced output even with a strongly rounded fingerboard.
Furthermore, a Fishman MIS-CEL is installed on the bottom of the bridge.
By picking up not only string vibrations but also body vibrations, it adds a more acoustic resonance.
In addition to a balancer that can mix magnetic and piezo, it also has attack, treble, and bass controls.
It can handle a wide range of sound shaping while making the most of the characteristics of each pickup. This EUB (European Bass) combines rich body response with the ease of use provided by its pickup system.
It retains an acoustic feel while offering high practicality for stage and recording use.
