It's known that many professional bassists, including Kazuki Arai (King Gnu) and Tetsuo Sakurai, actually use their products.
This is the OCTAMIZER, an analog octave pedal specifically designed by Aguilar for bassists.
An octaver is an effect pedal that creates a sound one octave lower than the dry sound, adding depth to the tone. The most distinctive feature of this unit is that it has independent volume and tone controls for both the dry and octave sounds.
The CLEAN TONE control uses a tilt EQ that allows for smooth adjustment of the balance between high and low frequencies.
The OCTAVE FILTER, on the other hand, is equipped with a multi-pole low-pass filter that varies the harmonic components of the octave sound.
These two independent controls allow for incredibly precise and versatile sound shaping, from adding a deep, thick sub-bass while retaining the clear attack of the original tone, to emphasizing only the octave tones for a thick, undulating bass sound.
Furthermore, it boasts a warm, fat tone characteristic of analog circuitry, while also offering excellent tracking—a major advantage.
Even in fast passages, the octave tones follow smoothly and precisely without any lag.

Buy-Back Validity Period: The buy-back at 70% for used items and 50% for new items is valid for six months from the date of purchase. After six months, items will be evaluated and purchased at our standard trade-in rates.
