This model is a high-gain bass overdrive with special features.
Its distinctive feature is that it splits the signal into two (DARK and LIGHT) based on frequency bands, distorts each independently, and then mixes them.
DARK represents the low frequencies, and LIGHT represents the high frequencies.
The DARK and LIGHT controls are EQ controls for each, and the ROAST control controls the depth of the drive.
By utilizing these controls, you can create a variety of sounds, such as deep distortion while maintaining a thick low end, or edgy distortion with prominent high frequencies.
Turning ROAST all the way to the left makes it function as a clean to extremely low-gain EQ.
It has some slightly unusual features, but when you actually try it, you'll find it incredibly clear and easy to understand.
The fact that you can get Ashdown's alternative rock drive sound in this form is undoubtedly a major attraction.
There are scratches and dirt, and the overall condition shows signs of use. It is in good working order.
