| Mosrite is a brand founded by a craftsman who originally worked for Rickenbacker. It's particularly popular in Japan, and has been used by artists such as Char, Tatsuro Yamashita, and Susumu Hirasawa. (Titles omitted) Overseas, it's known for being used by Kurt Cobain and members of The Ventures. This is a Custom '65 Bass made by Kurokumo Seisakusho. In addition to its iconic Mosrite look, this bass boasts a unique playability thanks to its short scale. The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. It features original pickups. The sound has a loose nuance, yet the attack has a percussive texture, giving it a distinctive character that sets it apart from typical basses. This bass is recommended not only for rock, garage, and surf music, but also for anyone seeking a unique bass sound. The frets have approximately 60% remaining. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. The body and paintwork show minor scratches, small dents, and paint discoloration. The electronics are in good condition. No obvious modifications were observed.
