Moon is a leading, long-established guitar brand in Japan.
Highly regarded by many professional artists, Moon basses are known to be the favorites of many professionals, including Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham. (Titles omitted)
This is the legendary JJ model.
It's a special limited edition model.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is ebony.
The popular walnut color and the deep black fretboard give it a distinctly Moon feel.
The pickups are OXALIS JB-CTM, and the preamp is a Bartolini XTCT—a configuration typical of Moon.
The rich, crisp low and high ends are particularly appealing.
This sound is likely why it has been loved by bassists for so long.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it can be adjusted to about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show scattered paint chips of approximately 3.0-5.0mm. There are also dents and scratches on the sides of the body, indicating signs of use.
