Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence even today.

This is a Jazz Bass that we believe was manufactured between 1971 and 1972.

The neck date is illegible due to the worn lettering, and the potentiometers and pickups have been replaced, so we couldn't determine the exact year from these.

Therefore, we primarily used the serial number to determine the manufacturing date.

The body is alder, the neck is maple, and the fretboard is round-laminated rosewood, a typical configuration for a Jazz Bass of that era.

The pickups have likely been replaced with current Fender pickups.

All potentiometers and the bridge have been replaced, and the guitar has been refretted and re-nutted.

The jack appears to be original, but this cannot be confirmed.

The wood of the body and neck is believed to be original.

Although parts have been replaced, it is in excellent condition and ready for long-term use.

The sound possesses the clarity characteristic of a 70s Jazz Bass, while also being moderately full and possessing a well-worn, vintage nuance.

The moderately rounded neck shape is also appealing, and playability is excellent.

This is a practical instrument that allows you to enjoy the look and sound of a vintage Jazz Bass.

The frets have approximately 80% remaining.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show overall signs of use, including paint peeling, dents, scratches, and age-related discoloration.

The electronics are in good condition.

Refretted and replaced nut. Bridge and pickups have been replaced. All potentiometers have been replaced. The jack appears to be original, but this cannot be confirmed. One pickguard mounting screw is missing.
