This model was manufactured in Japan and is now discontinued.
Okada International, which has long handled top brands such as Sadowsky NYC and Suhr, was responsible for the basic design, and its high quality is highly regarded.
This model is the classic RV4.
""Roger Sadowsky 2017"" is written in pen on the backplate and the included pickguard.
It's a handwritten signature.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
