Inner Wood is a Japanese bass brand.
Production ceased in 2020, and only currently available units are still in circulation.
This model is a popular active JB type.
The body is likely ash, and the neck and fretboard are maple, a configuration reminiscent of 70s Fender.
Both the pickups and preamp are Bartolini.
The preamp is a TCT.
As you can see, the design is clearly inspired by the NYC sound.
It boasts deep lows, a scooped midrange, and rich, crisp highs.
This kind of sound is unique to this style of bass.
A must-try for anyone looking for an active 5-string JB.
The frets have approximately 65% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some scratches and dents, indicating signs of use. Screw holes are visible around the corners of the battery box.
The electronics are in good condition.
The endpin position has been changed, so screw holes are visible where the original pin was located. The nut has been replaced. The battery box has been replaced with a GOTOH one.
