Description & Condition
Description & Condition
History is an original brand created by Shimamura Music.
As expected from a music store's original brand, it's characterized by its high cost performance.
This model is based on a classic jazz bass.
It's a higher-end model.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a popular wood combination.
The maple used for the neck is a North American Heritage Wood.
The frets are installed using the familiar CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS uses a fan-shaped fret installation system, creating a right-angle angle to the strings and allowing for more accurate scale setting.
The bridge is a GOTOH-510B4.
Recent models of this model have used a KTS titanium bridge.
The pickups are the proprietary HBJ-1, the pots are CTS, and the jack is Switchcraft, making it a high-spec instrument.
While it has a vintage feel, you'll feel a modern nuance in its fast response.
This instrument is a perfect example of what you get when you assemble it with these specifications.
A masterpiece that avoids excessive cost-cutting while incorporating the best aspects of Japanese craftsmanship.
Fret life is approximately 80%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches, but no significant damage.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
