Description & Condition
Dragonfly is a Japanese guitar and bass brand with a long history.
They manufacture high-quality products using the knowledge and technology cultivated in collaboration with musicians.
Many musicians use their basses, including Teyan Tetsuya of Fear.and Loathing in Las Vegas, who has been using their basses for many years.
This is the CL-DJB5, a 5-string model based on the classic JB style.
The body is made of ash, the neck is made of hard maple, and the fingerboard is made of maple.
The tight, crisp attack characteristic of ash, combined with the clear response of the maple fingerboard, produces a modern, punchy sound.
It is equipped with Dragonfly's original DCJB5 pickups and a Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp.
The Tone Capsule adds thickness and presence to the mid-low frequencies while preserving the instrument's original character, allowing for a wide range of sounds from natural to aggressive and well-defined, characteristic of Darkglass.
The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones.
This guitar offers exceptional playability, combining smooth playability with high-quality sound, allowing you to fully appreciate the capabilities of a high-end, domestically produced 5-string JB bass.
Fret life is approximately 90%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
