Three Dots is a brand created by Yoshiyuki Kikuchi (and Okada International), who has earned immense trust from many professional bassists, particularly in his work with Sadowsky.
This model is an ambitious creation that fully incorporates Mr. Kikuchi's intentions, based on the traditional JB bass motif.
The body is likely alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
This combination is characterized by bright mid-to-high frequencies.
The pickups are original.
These pickups reference the sound of vintage Fender basses used by professional musicians in live settings.
Their appeal lies in their rich midrange that blends well into ensembles.
Many aspects, such as the neck angle and initial setup, adopt a design that is a further development of the Fender style, strongly indicating a focus on playability.
The rich midrange of the pickups, combined with the low and high frequencies that can be boosted by the preamp, outputs a very well-balanced sound across the entire frequency range.
In addition, it boasts hyper-smooth playability, making it a high-level instrument.
