Atelier Z is a professional-grade bass brand widely loved by professional bassists both in Japan and internationally.
It's known that many prominent musicians, including Tomohito Aoki, KenKen, BOH, and JINO, use their basses.
While Atelier Z is popular for its Magnitude series, including the M245, the Beta series is designed to deliver the M-series sound even with 24 frets.
The body is made of ash, and the fretboard is maple—the brand's standard configuration.
Although the body design differs significantly due to the extended fretboard, the playability is unmistakably that of a JB.
The pickups are original, and the preamp is the original Atelier Z EQ-X2.
It's a pure buffer amp without an EQ section.
Thanks to Atelier Z's distinctive sound, the overall tonal balance remains natural despite the increased number of frets, which is a major appeal.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor dents and scratches overall. The pickguard also shows overall scratches. Some tarnishing is visible on the metal parts.
The electronics are in good condition.
The bass knob has been replaced.
