ESP is one of Japan's leading guitar brands, enjoying worldwide renown alongside Fender and Gibson.
It's supported by many professional artists, including IKUO, Hidekazu Hinata, and Kazuhiko Nakamura, who are known to use ESP basses.
This is a signature model of Toshiya from DIR EN GREY.
The body is made of swamp ash, and the fretboard is rosewood.
The neck is a 7-piece laminated neck made of hard maple, walnut, and paduak.
This technique of laminating multiple types of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The scale length is 35 inches.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan SSB-5.
The preamp is an ESP CINNAMON.
It boasts a powerful sound with ample bass response and a strong, well-defined tone.
And it's surprisingly flexible and capable of diverse sound shaping.
