WARMOTH is an American brand that manufactures high-quality replacement necks and bodies, and is highly regarded by many luthiers and players.
Red House Guitars is one of Japan's leading guitar workshops, handling repairs as well as OEM manufacturing for many high-end brands.
This model is a custom JB-type model combining a WARMOTH body and a Red House neck.
The body is made of chambered WARMOTH alder,
achieving a rich, resonant tone despite its lightweight design.
The neck is a custom-made piece by Red House specifically for this instrument, featuring a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
It is equipped with GOTOH JB-Classic α pickups and a Delano Sonar 2 preamp.
Furthermore, the passive tone control features a push/pull capacitor switching function.
In addition to the standard 0.022uF capacitor, switching to a capacitor equivalent to approximately 0.15uF allows you to select a unique tone with a drastically cut high frequency response.
This guitar features highly reliable components down to the smallest detail, including Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines and a Switchcraft jack.
The sound is based on a classic JB style, but boasts a light and responsive feel thanks to the chambered body and a wide-range sound from the Delano preamp.
It can handle a wide range of tones, from vintage-like passive sounds to modern active sounds.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches and small dents. There are screw holes around the jack. There is a small dent in the center of the last fret on the fingerboard.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
