Description & Condition

Spector is a guitar and bass brand started in 1974 by Stuart Spector in New York.

Initially, Vinny Fodera, who would later found Fodera Guitars, also worked at the Spector workshop.

The brand's NS model gained explosive popularity worldwide, and it was created in collaboration with Ned Steinberger.

This is a very rare made-in-USA NS-2, manufactured in 1989.

This is from the so-called Kramer era.

The neck features a through-neck construction using beautiful quarter-sawn 3-piece maple.

This technique of laminating multiple pieces of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.

The body wings are made of exquisite figured maple, resulting in a top-of-the-line finish in both looks and specifications.

The pickups are EMG PJ type.

It also features an original 2-band EQ preamp, supporting flexible sound shaping.

The sound is characterized by rich sustain and a clear tone with sharp definition.
However, the true essence of this instrument lies in the hard, slightly saturated "Spector Graul" sound hidden within its orderly and beautiful resonance.

The distinctive bite that strikes you the moment you pick deeply is unmistakably the Spector sound.

It tightly supports the foundation of the ensemble while never getting lost in the mix, sharply cutting through the band's sound.

This is a supreme instrument that exudes an overwhelming presence.

The frets have approximately 80% remaining.

The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.

The neck shows a slight upward bow, but it is playable without problems after adjusting the string height at the 12th fret to 2.0mm for the G string and 2.5mm for the E string.

There are some dents on the body and paintwork.

The electronics are in good condition.

No obvious modifications were observed.
