Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This model is a signature model of Kazuki Arai, bassist of King Gnu.
It's designed based on the American Deluxe Jazz Bass V that he has used for many years, inheriting its feel and sound concept.
Originally released as a limited edition model in 2021, it sold out instantly.
Later, it was reissued as a regular model with some specifications revised to make it more accessible.
The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The limited edition model featured a roasted maple neck and lacquer finish, but this model uses a standard maple neck and urethane finish.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SJ-5s.
The preamp is original.
While the specifications have been revised, the sound is tighter and more powerful.
It boasts the strong projection and clear tone characteristic of an active bass.
This model, while retaining the lineage of the American Deluxe Jazz Bass V, is an attractive instrument that combines a modern sound with high playability.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show fine scratches throughout. There is a 1cm scratch near the control panel. Some tarnishing is visible on the metal parts. There are scratches on the pickguard, likely from neck adjustment. A sticker is attached to the side of the neck. The electronics are in good condition.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SJ5s.
